Haladaya Festival is an annual event held every August 30 in the Municipality of Daanbantayan, the northernmost town in the island of Cebu, Philippines, to honor its patron, Sta. Rosa de Lima. Haladaya means “Halad kang Datu Daya”. “Datu Daya is a legendary chieftain who was the leader of the first Malaysian settlers in Cebu.” (source: peanutbrowas)

The Grand Finale is done after all the contingents have performed and before the announcing of winners. In this part of the event, all performers gracefully unite and dance to the rhythm of "Haladaya sa Kandaya" and "Mabuhi (Ka Sugbuanon)".
