Lost baby goose found in the river - I tried to find it a family

I was salmon fishing on the Willamette River and was on my way in when I saw a baby goose struggling to get to my kayak. It was clearly lost and not able to deal with the wind and rain so I scooped it into my kayak. I pedaled around and tried to find a goose family that may have lost one. I found a family I had noticed earlier while fishing and, while I wasn't sure if it was the actual family of this baby, it was the only one I could find. I hope that it makes it! UPDATE: I went back to where I left the baby goose today and all of the geese were gone, including the baby I dropped off. I walked around the area up and down river from that spot and couldn't find any geese families or perpetually lost little goslings. There were some geese on the other side of the river when I checked out the spots where they usually hang out. While there were plenty of other geese, there was no sign of the family I left the little lost gosling with.
