There's an unfortunate update to share regarding Jimmy Usos status and future with WWE, because clearly the company are struggling when it comes to finding a storyline or program to elevate Jimmy, leading some to speculate that perhaps we're heading in the direction of WWE deciding to release Jimmy Uso as they can't find a suitable role for him. For those of you unaware, wrestling legend Bill Apter revealed on a recent WrestleVotes Q&A, that WWE have been having a hard time finding a program for Jimmy Uso to bring him to that next level which has led to a lot of uncertainty regarding Jimmy's status with the company, revealing, quote "They don’t have a program locked in for him at this point. They’re trying very hard to find somebody to shoot an angle with him, but it hasn’t happened yet. I don’t know what they’re planning. The people I’ve talked to are going like we’re looking for something to bring him up a level, but they haven’t come up with anything yet. I think they wanna keep him around, they wanna keep him on TV. He’s popular enough, but they are looking for some kind of spark behind him (that is) yet to be seen yet, so we’ll see how it goes." Now we'll start off by saying that we don't believe WWE are going to be releasing Jimmy Uso anytime soon - that would be absolutely insane on WWE's part so the fans worrying about that being a legitimate possibility can take a deep breath. Honestly though its unfortunate to hear that WWE are having a hard time figuring out the right direction for Jimmy Uso, because no doubt there are a lot of fans out there who feel Jimmy should've been the one put in the position that Jey was this year getting the big push, with some arguing that Jimmy Usos not only better than his brother Jey on the mic, but better in the ring as well (WWE Hindi India Explained). We hope this mess gets sorted out soon, because at the very least, it would be nice to see Jimmy Uso get a legit push in the midcard, potentially winning the US Championship. That would seem like the right place to start when it comes to WWE taking Jimmy to that next level. Again, hopefully this situation gets sorted out soon, but in the meantime, Jimmy Usos future in WWE is definitely very uncertain at the moment.
