Detective David Cruz knows the streets of Las Vegas better than any officer before him, He is loyal to his department and thankful for the people around him. He patrols with pride and takes honor in doing everything by the book. But today, the department had no book on what was about to happen.

David's only flaw is that he struggles with the horrific death of his pregnant wife. He hides his pain and anger behind whiskey bottles and a never ending supply of PallMalls. He buries himself inside his work and tonight his work has decided to bury him. David responds to a routine Vegas Casino Heist and finds himself in the middle of a Vampiric Empire that is squeezing the life out of the people of Las Vegas with their greedy hands and sharp teeth.

Damien Dimitrov and his two children, SIlviya and Dimitar, run the largest family of vampires on the West Coast. Damien built a vampiric themed Casino and Hotel called; THE RED SANDS so his thousands of step-children could live a life without full seclusion. These creatures have a large taste for blood and an even larger craving for cold hard cash. David finds himself in a game of cat-and-mouse when he stumbles across the bloodsucking mafia. He badge reminds him to serve justice. His heart reminds him to stay alive.

David's only help in this plight: The Red Vixen, Cassie Vitlai. Dressed in her skin tight red leather, Cassie arrives in the city that never sleeps looking for the bloodline that killed her fiance. She has the skills and the desire, but will she have the chance to meet the original maker of all things evil. David and Cassie team up to defend the city against thousands of bloodthirsty beasts. They have the firepower. They have the drive. The vampires have the numbers.
