Non-allergic rhinitis (previously referred to as vasomotor rhinitis) occurs when the tissues inside the nose become inflamed.

Anyone can develop non-allergic rhinitis. It can result from viral infection or even from exposure to certain triggers, like doors or certain medications. Others develop this condition due to underlying health problems.
