After exploring the Dreadlair, you’ll face off against its main resident, Mortamor. It its first form, it can sometimes move twice per turn. It can cast a Disruptive Wave to remove the stat changes of opponents, a Venomous Mist to badly poison the target, a barrage a frigid ice balls to attack the entire team, energy balls to strike twice, and meditate to restore 500 HP. When Mortamor reveals its true form, its next batch of moves feature a Mercurial Thrust that strikes first, the Defending Champion to reduce damage from physical attacks by 90%, and a Roundhouse Kick to strike all opponents in range, but with each hit dealing a little less damage. After dealing enough damage, Mortamor will shed its body with claws left and right separating. If one claw is down, the other one will use Kazing to fully revive the other one. On top of that, the claws can use Multiheal on the main body of Mortamor to restore some health, so be sure to bring down both claws simultaneously on the same turn so that no more healing happens. As for Mortamor, it can use Magic Burst to use its remaining magic points to deal massive damage to all opponents. After that, it will use Evil Prayer to fully restore its magic points, allowing it to freely use another Magic Burst. After winning, the Dreadlair will disintegrate, but Pegasus will lead you out safely.
