How to Sharpen Clipper Blades - Jende Industries

Описание к видео How to Sharpen Clipper Blades - Jende Industries

Clipper blades for hairstylists and pet groomers are a must have, and while they last longer than scissors or shears, they must be sharpened periodically to prevent the hairs from being pulled out. Sharpening the clipper blades is usually very straight forward. You need to mate the two blades so they run across each other with no gaps. That allows the hair to get caught in the V grooves and get severed from the sides. I used a Chosera 400 and 1K stone. You don't need too much refinement as more contact between the blades causes more heat buildup and will make it more difficult for the heat to dissipate. By marking the blades with ink, you can tell where metal is being removed and if anywhere is not coming into consistent contact.
