The archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana provides a look into the history of Peru. Over the ages it was occupied by the Lima Culture, the Huari (Wari), and the Ychma people. The step pyramid is constructed of adobe brick, which offers protection from seismic activity. It was once used for everything from a center for administrative work, to ceremonial and funerary practices. During my time here I also enjoyed the museum and restaurant where you can learn the history and relax at one of the best attractions in Miraflores, Peru. #historytour #archaeology
