Former Washington State Auditor Brian Sonntag says the state should review spending at the Department of Child, Youth, and Families, amid allegations on a state and federal level of misuse of taxpayer funds.

The Democrat served the state for 20 years, between 1992 and 2012, and audited numerous agencies, investigating fraud allegations at the Port of Seattle and Washington State Department of Transportation.
