'Untether' refers to the user disconnecting himself from the virtual world. A system error forces our protagonist to re-engage back with reality. He craves to reconnect with the un-real. Flashbacks of his time within Ceres haunt him as he struggles to cope.

Musically the song is an aggressive mix of heavy instrumentation and vocals mixed with epic choruses. Mimicking the anxiety and contempt the protagonist is experiencing.
