Italy is struggling with multiple wildfires across the country, especially in Sicily, where two elderly people died in a house engulfed by fire. The fires have threatened the Palermo airport, the ancient Valley of the Temples, and several nature reserves. The Italian authorities have deployed thousands of firefighters, soldiers, and volunteers, as well as planes and helicopters, to contain the blazes. Mamma mia! 😭
