Cherokee, North Carolina in the Great Smokey Mountains

As former Floridians (we were both born and raised there, living there our whole lives), but moved to Georgia in 2021. We re sooo not beach people. We traveled with our family out of the busy Atlanta life, to where our hearts feel at peace: the mountains!

We swam in the creek, went to the Tunnel to Nowhere, stopped at roadside farms, thrift stores and generally just went sight-seeing in the area.

With our kids, dog and mother (in law) in tow... we set off to see the rolling greens...
