How different versions of Windows handle DPI scaling

This is NOT one of those “How big can we make the UI?” videos. Instead, for each DPI scale I will use a resolution that is appropriate for that scale, all of which will equate to the same UI-sizing. The footage will then be scaled to 3840×2160 using an appropriate method.

DPI scale, Resolution, Footage scale
100%, 1280×720, 300% nearest-neighbour
125%, 1600×900, 240% interpolation
150%, 1920×1080, 200% nearest-neighbour
200%, 2560×1440, 150% interpolation
250%, 3200×1800, 120% interpolation
300%, 3840×2160, 100%
400%, 5120×2880, 75% interpolation
500%, 6400×3600, 60% interpolation
