Revisiting last shave to see if this blade smooths out.

And just like the last shave, I think I said that this was the 46 gap WR1, but it is really a 54 gap.

Razor: Wolfman - WR1 Solid Bar .54 Brushed
Blade: Personna - Comfort Coated (2)
Lather: Tabac Tallow - Hard Soap
Brush: Stirling - Finest in CravingShaving Blue Slate 26mm (40 uses)
Post: Stirling - Scarn

Razor and Blade Notes - Wolfman - WR1 Solid Bar .54 Brushed ::: Personna - CC (2 uses):
Sure enough, this blade smoothed out well, and was even better than the first use. A blade that works so well in this mild razor, and one so cheap too, is a great combo.

Easy to get a comfy and close shave with this setup. No irritation and just felt the edge enough to know I was shaving.

Razor and Blade Performance/Comfort Rating: 4 out of 5 (Very Good)

Soap Notes - Tabac Tallow - Hard Soap:
Scent: So, the powdery-ness is there. But I can look past that to the ... well, I guess I'd call it a woody-tobacco-maybe-resin scent that is so well blended that it's tough to pull them apart.

Lather: Wonderful today, though a little on the dry side of perfect. Slick and highly creamy.

Hydration: Dry End of Perfect (for me)

25 sec load with a Lightly-Wet brush
4.3 tsp added to make lather
= 8 passes of lather

Bowl: Roger Quintero 3D Printed Bowl
I use the XL version of this bowl.

Brush Notes - Stirling - Finest in CravingShaving Blue Slate 26mm (40 uses):
I can't believe I've shaved with this 40 times. It did okay today, but the tips weren't very soft, and the backbone was in full effect. That's why you saw me do so many painting type strokes, which make this brush feel better.

Gave it a long soak, to maybe help it be as soft as possible.

I'm going to have to read up on my past uses of it, because I may just sell this knot, because there are just too many I enjoy more.

*Shave Quality*
During the Shave Feel:
Cheeks: Felt blade but comfortable
Neck: Felt blade but comfortable
After the Shave Closeness:
Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get
Neck: Few hairs are showing some tip length (with most being cut flush)

I'm gradually adding answers to frequent questions here: http://www.sugardaddyshaves.com

Wetshaving is the age-old shaving method where you create a lather from a soap or cream, usually with a brush. And these days, we also usually mean using a safety razor (aka double edge or DE) or single edge or straight razor to remove the hair. We often enjoy less irritated skin, healthier skin, more enjoyable shaves, and often closer shaves than those who use a multi-bladed cartridge and canned shaving foam.
