SUYUK (Boiled Pork Belly)

- 1~2kg Liempo (Pork Belly)
- 1.5 liters of water
- 1 tbsp Soybean paste (Dwenjang)
- 2 cups of leeks
- 4 bayleaf
- 1tbsp peppercorn
- 1 tbsp coffee grounds
- 1 whole white onion
- 1 whole garlic
- 4 slices of ginger
- 1/3 cup of soju or any cooking wine

*Suyuk is our way of eating the Pork belly, usually boiled in different spices.
we eat our Suyuk in freshly made kimchi, some chili-soybean paste, or fermented shrimp
we then call it "BoSsam".
