On MLK Day, I went to Manitou and Garrison to see some trains in the snow. Yeah… I thought 2-3 inches of snow was pretty good. I also went to Katonah a few days later and caught M3s like it was the 2000s again! I even saw a 10-car M3 set! The next week on 1/26/26, I went back to Manitou and was it different! The snow was so high, it was higher than the rails! Anyways, I did see some decent action as well as my first P42 leader on the Lake Shore Limited (between ALB and NYC). The Wednesday after that (1/28/26), I went to back to Katonah and found that there was a new seasonal railfanning platform. In the parking lot, there was a 5-6 foot pile of compacted snow from the plowing. The action there was typical, but at least I got to see it from a different perspective. Enjoy the video!
