Dr. Mark Mandel is an Associate Professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Dr. Mandel talks about the molecular mechanisms controlling Vibrio fischeri, a bioluminescent bacterial symbiont, biofilm production and ability to colonize squid.
