Mind mapping is a method of branching out connected words through association visually using a mind mapping app. In this case, I am sharing the details of how I use the Mindomo app. I also use this subject-linking exercise to get organized and to build on a project or idea when I feel I have run out of ideas or when I get stuck creatively as an artist. It stimulates my thinking and allows me to link ideas together using word association. It is a basic creative brainstorming technique using a subject or idea and then linking other words associated with that idea or word into a visually connected layout when you or stuck with your creativity or just need to create a visual representation for organization purposes. It's simple, and productive, and has helped me get organized as well as get me through creative blocks when I get stuck.

My hope is that sharing this will help others with their own idea brainstorming in times when a little extra effort is needed to stimulate something different, unique, or random.
