Valentine's Day started with a lovely story of a good girl gone dangerous, or in the words of Tory Burch, "the prim and proper lady that dates the wrong guy." The idea of searing love affairs is at the core of the designer's story for this collection, giving you an idea of what her protagonist would look like.

This was a very different collection from her than I have seen in the past, and probably my favorite thus far. The new Tory Burch woman is still prim and polished, but this season, she's adopted an underline of seduction with more body-conscious silhouettes.

"It's not just about the affair, it's also about the places where these sort of liaisons happen", Tory told Vogue. Brilliant!

Tory Burch presented her Fall/Winter 2012 Collection at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week.
