Vintage Gibson Les Paul guitars used .022 and .047 Bumblebee caps, and the capacitors sell for anywhere between $1 and $50 each. Paper, oil and aluminum foil are wound up tightly, but is there anything else inside?
Orange drop caps use metalyzed polyester. The Astron Cap is actually hard to distinguish. It appears to be aluminum foil and a plastic film that has permanently fused to itself. It was bascially like trying to cut open a thick silver plastic tube.
