When I was visiting Bucharest (Romania) last year I when to an abandoned train depot neglected near the tracks of the main train line of Gara De Nord. Communist leader Nicolae Ceausescu launched quite a few infrastructure projects, However, after the fall of his dictatorship the railway capacity fell and many trains were left to their fate. Some of the tracks remain till today together with the rusty vehicle material.
 
Do you want to visit the train cemetery yourself →→→ it’s about 15min walk from entering Gara De Nord: just follow the train until you enter the end of the platform of the connected Gara Basarab station.

Please, make sure to watch out for the trains when crossing from the Gara Basarab platform to the graveyard. The tracks are active with trains driving are high speed. And it's most likely prohibited to visit this scary place.
