2020 Honda 250L Ohlins HO429/FSK123 upgrade installation/review

Official torque specs
top shock bolt 54 Nm
bottom shock bolt 44 Nm (I used this for all the bolts in the rear linkage)
triple clamp bolts 29 Nm

Other notes
EVAP canister removal (video is 300L but same steps for 250L - I only deleted the EVAP canister, not the PAIR system as well):

if you use screw drivers and a little effort/finesse, you can remove the canister without destroying the rubber mounts that hold the canister (unlike he does in the video)

Ohlins front fork install:

I used blue/medium (that’s what I had already available) locktite on the bolts which go into the plastic holder for the external reservoir, put the locktite in the end of the bolt where the nut will sit
the two bolts from the engine cover you have to remove to install the external reservoir mount, i torqued them to the same spec as the oil filter cover bolts 8ft-lb/~10-11Nm (technically manual says oil filter cover is 7ft-lbs but I once read 8 and I always do 8ft-lb)
put locktite on the two bolts which hold the front sprocket
everything needed for the EVAP canister removal (zip ties, rubber vacuum caps, vacuum connectors, uninsulated spade terminals - to pin the connector) was available at my local O’Reilly’s
to hold the washer that goes behind the nut on the top shock bolt, I taped it with electrical tape to the frame, you can see the black tape in the video
greased the top shock bolt and all the bottom linkage bolts. For the bottom linkage took the whole triangle off and cleaned it, and lubed inside the rubber holes too
