Okay, we have already come to day 3! I woke up with a little sprain and a bad heat bubble. I guess they have decided to stay and enjoy the rest of the trip with me. As always, my day starts with visiting my auntie's house for her tea/coffee.

I had an itinerary for today, which I planned myself. I decided to visit Jatayu Earth's Center, which is about 27 km from Varkala. I could have gone by bus, but considering the climatic conditions, I chose to hire an auto. I met Aslam chetta, who was very sweet. He took a scenic route with less traffic. We had a nice chat, and chetta said solo traveling is the best because you can eat whatever you want and there’s no conflict about where to stay, what to eat, etc. Haha, yes, it is to some extent.

I finally reached the place. It was sunny but sultry, so I chose to go by cable car. It was a bit expensive, around 500 INR for a round trip, but I had never been in one, so why not now? It was fun! I felt like a child, looking around and confused about which side to stick to. When I arrived in front of the Jatayu statue, the feeling was heavy. I don’t know why, but the touch was special and emotional. I sat for a while, absorbing all the positivity from Jatayu, and then decided to recharge with some amazing lime soda.

I came down via the cable car and asked chetta to take me to a place where I could get veg biryani. He tried his best, and we had to take a different route altogether to find one, but we finally found an amazing place. I ordered two plates, and the taste was just perfect—5/5! Chetta then dropped me at Varkala Beach, and I decided to climb the cliff top, heading towards the north cliff way. There were many cafes and stalls. It was a nice view to the left and cafes to the right—a crazy walk! When I got down, I saw a romantic set with a big crew shooting a cover song for T-Series. At that moment, I felt that one day I might do one with that banner. Let’s see!

Afterward, I enjoyed the nice breeze, observed many things—kids playing, families enjoying with their loved ones, couples chatting, boys playing on the beach, and more. These made me miss a couple of things in my life, but like the waves that come and go back, my thoughts eventually drifted off. I decided to walk a little more, but there were no autos, so I asked for a lift. People were kind enough to drop me off, and I met Suraj, whom I had met at my auntie’s shop. He dropped me at the hostel.

I thought my energy was low, but I freshened up and decided to step out again. I had an amazing spicy buttermilk, which added more spice to the heat bubble, and then headed to the Jagannatha Swamy Temple. I sat there for a few minutes and then met Azru at his homestay. We had a nice chat, and I came back to the hostel. It was already 7 PM by the time I returned, and I relaxed for a while before dinner. I chose to eat dosa as the biryani was still dancing in my stomach!

Nice, isn’t it? I loved sharing my day with you, and I hope you guys enjoyed watching! In the next vlog, I visited Padmanabhaswamy Temple, and it was a crazy day, I say! Keep waiting!
