V8 Touareg Timing Chain Tensioner Failure Diagnosing

We diagnose our cheap project Touareg. When we purchased this 4.2L V8, it had timing faults and misfires. From our experience, we went into this with the expectation that it had a bad cam timing chain adjuster on bank 1. In this video, we cover the complete diagnostic process for a bad cam chain adjuster for a V8 Touareg. Follow along while we show you that process and find out some bad news at the end!
