The Super League Kerala (SLK) is a new professional football league set to debut in September 2024. The inaugural season will feature six franchises representing various cities in Kerala: Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, and Kannur. The matches will be held across multiple venues, including Kochi, Kozhikode, and Malappuram, and will run from September 7 to November 10, 2024. The league aims to promote local football talent by including a mix of foreign players, non-Keralite Indian players, and local players, thereby providing a robust platform for youth development in Kerala's football ecosystem. The games will be broadcasted live on Star Sports and streamed on Hotstar.
