Background: Recently I felt nostalgic and wanted to play this game. It was officially shutdown in 2017, so nowadays the way to play it is on unofficial servers. While there are many already hosted and publicly accessible servers, they tend to have their fair share of issues, such as security concerns, and risk of being DMCAed at any time. Having a way to be able to setup your own server for personal use is a good thing, and I came across an open source project called "Houdini" that does just that. "Wand" is a container that automatically sets up "Houdini", skipping a lot of manual work. I've seen people suggest that "Wand" only works on Linux and not on Windows, but Windows happens to have an optional built-in Linux VM (WSL) that can be used to make this work.
