The latest "fresh design" canvas and checkered pattern!
Now in its 41st year, the "NIKE AIR FORCE 1" has always been a "fresh" street icon, maintaining its classic style while constantly introducing new styles. From the original leather-centric composition, a variety of materials were added in the 1990s, when reissues accelerated. Canvas first appeared in 1994 (with some production in 1993), and when the women's AF1 debuted in the 2000s, canvas designs with check patterns were released.
The new standby, the latest AF1, titled "Designed Fresh," is a pair that makes full use of the materials and patterns that marked a turning point in the era. White leather overlay and black canvas upper and side panels form the base. A black and white check pattern is placed on the heel, with an orange swoosh added as an accent. The white canvas tongue adds a label with the theme "DESIGNED FRESH BEAVERTON, OREGON," and the insole features an illustration of a shopping bag filled with "fresh" vegetables. The gold dubré gives the design a mature look.
