Описание к видео Charukesi Thillana | Baby Sreeram Compositions | Bharath Narayan| south indian classical music ragas

Minna Minni is delighted to feature Carnatic vocalist Bharath Narayan, who will be presenting some compositions of Dr Baby Sreeram. In today's final episode in the series, he renders a beautiful tillana in Raga Charukesi, one among the more recent and popular south indian classical music ragas.

About the artists :
Bharath Narayan is a bright Carnatic vocalist learning music from his parents Dr. G.Baby Sreeram & Palakkad K.L.Sreeram. He is passionate about building & fixing all sorts of things, including computers and automobiles. He takes particular pride in his 25 year old Yamaha RXG motorcycle (that ought not to be on the road, and converted into a museum exhibit) that he uses to 'smoke' the streets.

Dr G Baby Sreeram is among today's contemporary south Indian classical music composers. In the south Indian classical music songs tradition, south Indian classical vocal music as well as south Indian classical instrumental music repertoire both share the same compositions. The same compositions can also be used in south Indian classical music dance presentations. South Indian classical music ragas have evolved over many years are are beautifully preserved through compositions.
