Your tattoo doesn’t start with ink.
It starts with how you treat your skin before the needle touches it.

Most healing issues I see are not because of the artist.
They happen because pre-care is ignored.

If you’re planning a tattoo, do this 7–10 days before your session:

• Hydrate properly – dry skin doesn’t take ink well
• Moisturise daily – no fragranced or medicated creams
• No sunburn or tanning – damaged skin = poor healing
• Avoid alcohol & smoking at least 24–48 hrs before (blood thinning is real)
• Sleep well & eat properly – your body needs energy to heal
• Don’t shave aggressively or exfoliate harshly before your appointment

Your skin is the canvas you’ll carry for life.
Respect it before asking it to hold a story.

Good pre-care =

✔ better ink retention
✔ smoother healing
✔ less trauma to the skin

Ink is permanent.
Preparation should be intentional too.
