NPA Launches US$1 Million Fundraiser to Support University of Liberia…

The National Port Authority (NPA), under the leadership of its Managing Director, Hon. Sekou Hussein Dukuly, has launched a US$1 million fundraising campaign to support the University of Liberia (UL), under the theme “Coming Together to Revitalize UL.”

The initiative is aimed at improving learning conditions at UL through the provision of 30,000 armchairs, renovation of classrooms, and rehabilitation of bathrooms across the campus. The campaign is being implemented in collaboration with government institutions and key partners, including APM Terminals Liberia.

The official fundraising event is currently underway at the University of Liberia Capitol Hill Campus Auditorium, bringing together public officials, private sector leaders, development partners, and stakeholders in support of the national university.

The NPA said the initiative reflects its commitment to education, social responsibility, and national development through investment in Liberia’s human capital.
