So as some of you may already know, in the game development world, many game development companies have team members working remotely from their homes all across the world. In order for these teams to colaborate together to build their next big hit, they use something called Source Control.

I know absolulety nothing about source control, as I've never had strong enough internet to use it. So I thought I'd chat to a friend of mine who does.

Today I took some time to chat to a good friend of mine Cai Jones. Cai is a music composer and sound designer who works on various small to medium sized games, and has used source control tools such as GitHub and Source Tree.

He walked me through some basics, the logic behind it all, and some simple terminology. In case you're just as unfarmilar as I am with this stuff, I thought I'd share it with you too. Hope it helps! :)
