PLEASE READ:

A stunning departure this afternoon from Brisbane Airport with a RAAF E/A-18G making an appearance for the 2017 Aviation Expo. This was the first visit of a Growler at Brisbane Airport with the aircraft departing in fantastic lighting.

The Growler is a fairly new aircraft to the RAAF fleet with the first arriving down under in February with the following eleven delivered at various stages through 2017. Unfortunately the aircraft was not fitted with the ALQ-99 jamming pods, instead carrying two FPU-12 fuel pods.
