3:00 Actually no, first you decide and do hand check
3:40 hand check is check your hand (of 3 cards)
4:00 WRONG (I missed the check, will do later)
4:15 Wrong kind of check, hand check is draw your normal hand then discard.
4:30 Also, a check triggers the FPM to go back to the Beheaded.
(Serenade does only one card so a hand check would be cruel ruling)
5:10 Page 12 should mention that FPM moves from Serenade to Beheaded!
(why are these things so scattered in the text?!)
6:00 Regardless (pass or not), it's an interesting layout.
Either you do a toxic check later, or a particular survival check first.
And the toxic you always pass but may or may not avoid a toxic splatter
(thankfully a wound, but should be a poison obviously).
6:30 Design-wise you should be offered an alternative route, which is nice.
(in contrast to deck checks)
