I was stuck in Nusa Penida on "Nyepi Day" which is the Balinese New Year. The people there do not celebrate this day with lavish party or music. It is instead a day of silence, fasting and meditation for the Balinese. No Activities are allowed to take place. This also includes NO TRAFFIC (Roads are supposed to be empty), NO ELECTRICITY, NO NETWORK, NO WATER, NO PERMISSION TO LEAVE THE HOTEL PREMISES.
