One final spotting trip for 2023, New Years Eve at London's Stansted Airport. Just as we arrived the heavens opened, so the first few shots you'll notice the rain and grey skies. But it quickly passed over with the strong gusty winds.
A really good selection of traffic actually and a huge variety of airlines for Stansted standards. Sometimes you can spend hours and see nothing but Ryanair, but a good mix during the 2 hour visit I was there for.
The last shot of the UAE Presidential 787 arrival was a complete fluke! Was walking back to the car and spotted it on the horizon and it wasn't showing on flightradar at all. So I quickly moved into position to catch it on film. If I was in my car a few mins earlier, I'd have missed it.
