BANDEL CHURCH 2024

Today my destination is BandelChurch(The Basilica of The Holy Rosary),is situate inside Hoogly district of West Bengal,India.The church was founded 1599 AD.This is oldest Christian place for worship in West Bengal.
The church is nicely decorated by flowers and colours,here are a big garden and sculpture of Lord Jesus establish on Garden and also near front of gate.Here are no entry fee.
Church timing is 8am to 4.50pm.
From Naihati junction to Bandel have train service ,Hoogly ghat is nearest rail station from church
From Sealdah to Burdwan and Katwa local are another option to reach Bandel .
From Howrah station Bandel local is available to reach Bandel station.
Then toto can reach to Bandel Church fare is Rs 20.
25 Dec and 1st January the Bandel Church will close for general public or outside visitors for security reason.
Do not open camera in prayer spots, and keep silent inside the church.It is a peaceful place .
Backside of the church situated Hoogly river and a ground .Boating available on Hoogly river.End of the ground have Ganga Devi hindu temple.Here views are awesome.
