FTL Multiverse: Limit 3 Vs Sylvan (traveling merchant)

The run: I did not savescum (didn't make backups and reload)
I restarted the run at the start until sylvan would sell me onslaught in sector 1, I got myself the recycle mine laucher at the same time and broke it down for the augment to sustain rockets for the entire run. I managed to get into a separatist sector and bought two seperatists and recruited one from an event which also gave me the recycle bomb (good rng). The best secondary weapon for my run would probably be either momus (recycle missile launcher), the recycle minelauncher for higher DPS or the recycle bomb to get rid of piloting and increase DPS/cut down on missile usage from onslaught. Killing fast is everything. I went for hacking + cloacking as the usual sylvan strategy setup.

The fight: Defense 2 drone did not help me from getting hacked or boarded much at all lol However the hacking hacked medbay which is one of the best outcomes, only better hacks would be sensors, o2 or battery. Separatists are practically immortal anyway, I had them upgraded to be able to heal while in nano-mode, med-bot dispersal, murder-bot dispersal and respirators ontop of the passive separatist suffocation reduction made the boarders a joke. I ofcourse used onslaught to DPS race sylvan, my recycle bomb was broken like the entire run :(. I used cloaking into hacking into cloaking into hacking to prevent ever taking a volley of Sylvan's 18 projectiles of death. This strategy does not entirely work on the limit 3, with only 1 hacking I had a REALLY clutch cooldown on cloaking the second time ( 3:48 ), and on the third time I would have died if the fight took ~7 seconds longer since I can't cloak a third time on time for the volley.

Overall: Thank fuck my rng was good enough to survive, good enough to loot recycle bomb, good enough to get separatist engis and good enough to not get shot on my cloaking or hacking, not to get hacked on them or weapons either.

No savescumming was done.
