It is true. Bigger aeroplanes fly better. Demonstrated perfectly with this 1.8 metre Ranger RC trainer aeroplane from FMS. This aeroplane takes minutes to assemble and requires not special skills. I used the new RadioMaster Boxer radio/transmitter combined with a Frsky X8R receiver. A perfect combination for anyone want to commit to learning how to fly RC aeroplanes. In this video I fly some nice simple aerobatics and show how it would even keep intermediate and expert pilots entertained. I also show the affect of the flaps in slowing this model down for walking pace landings !

Note that I initially show a Spektrum DSMX receiver in the Ranger, as that was all I had at the time, but at the flying field I swapped this out for an Frsky X8R receiver that arrived that morning !
