The LEYBOLD OPTICS PAK, the biggest thin aluminum film machine for food packaging, is transported from Alzenau, Germany, to the customer in Brindisi, Italy. The machine was first fully assembled and tested in Germany. For the transport of the 24 meter long and 90 ton heavy machine a convoy of three carriers and special equipment is needed. For safety reasons, support vehicles accompany the convoy, which mainly drives at night. After 10 days, the machine arrives safely at the new owner's site.
