Swindon warehouse worker says conditions unfair

Workers at a warehouse in Swindon say they feel under pressure because of job insecurity.

As so-called agency workers they are being paid the minimum wage, but others in the same warehouse doing the same jobs are paid more because they are employees.

According to the GMB union, which is supporting their case, the agency workers must come to work every day, but can be turned away without advance notice if they are not needed.

Rosseby Carvalho is a picker and loader at the warehouse. He has been in the European Parliament to raise the issue along with union reps. He says he never knows if he is going to have enough money to make ends meet.
