I finally got over my creative dry spell. This has been a long 7 months. Pretty much the same setup I was using last year (with the addition of a Microfreak) except now I'm using Ableton as a mixer and for basic EQ/Reverb/Delay.

I'm really pleased not only with how this track came out but also with the way I put it together - the Digitakt and Tracker have a much more equal share of the heavy lifting here and split both sampling and MIDI sequencing duties based on which would give the best results. I did a fair bit of sampling out of the Hydrasynth and Microfreak and found it made me much more willing to just create a sound from scratch to do what I needed because once it's sampled I don't have to worry about not being able to use that synth for another part.

I'm considering this a demo because I'm intending to do a proper multitrack recording/mix of this to release either as a single or as part of an EP.
