1965 Pontiac GTO A-Class performance review:
Do note that you can get slightly better power with the V12 swap. And I don't think I need to say much. If you have the throttle control then you could probably handle this thing. Unfortunately it is not the best powerbuild car as it struggles for grip and it has no top speed.

As long as there aren't any low speed turns, you can be decently competitive in sprint tracks.
