On my journey to living a more sustainable life, I tried out lots of plastic-free natural deodorants and was allergic to ALL of them. This was made extra frustrating by the fact that many of these deo alternatives are 3x more expensive than a standard deodorant. Whilst this may be a deterrent from switching to plastic-free, natural beauty products, this doesn't have to be the case, as deodorant is really simple and easy to make, with ingredients you most likely already have in your kitchen, and you can apply it with your hand, just like body lotion!

Ingredients:

Coconut oil - naturally antibacterial and moisturising
Baking soda - absorbs and neutralises odour
Cornflour - thickens the deo
Essential oil of your choice (optional) - to make it smell lovely
