The better you are at what you do, the more likely that mystery shopping companies will choose you when there's work available. So how do you do this? Firstly, reliability - if you've agreed a day/time to do an assignment, so it then and get the report in on time; if you do come across an issues (you're not well, your car breaks down, the traffic on the M1 completely conspires against you!) then stay in touch with your allocator so they can see if there's any flexibility in the due date. Secondly, always read the brief! Even if you've shopper a client before, brief change, so always use the most up to date version. Missing something can mean we couldn't use your report, and you wouldn't get paid, and none of us want that. Next, pay attention to detail - make sure you know what you should be looking/listening out for, and pay attention to the details surrounding that during your experience; learn some mental tricks for remembering names and other information. Fourth, clarity - don't just tick the answer boxes, make sure you clearly explain the reasons for these answers in the comment boxes - paint a picture for the client! And finally, if you're not sure about anything, ask us - we're here to help you be the best shopper you can be!
