Christian Michel, a British citizen involved in the AgustaWestland helicopter case, was extradited to India from Dubai in 2018 and has been imprisoned for over five years without a trial. His lawyer, Aljo Joseph, highlights the excessive delay and lack of a verdict as indicative of a flawed case. Despite multiple appeals for intervention from British Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak, the Michel family has received no assistance. Alios Michel also laments the British Foreign Office's failure to address their concerns, describing the situation as a severe neglect of their national.
