Evans' wife ran away to her parents when jiggers became too much for her husband. I must mention she has been lucky all through - staying with him in that house, and yet without jiggers herself as he really suffers. That's another controversy surrounding the jigger issue that's worthy of deep scientific investigation. So we arrive on this day and the mother is hiding in her house, because Evans has been 'harrassing' her by asking for food and yet she doesn't have it. You can see that he is very hungry. Where's hope for people like this man? The good news is that we have arrived! Help has come his way. God has answered his prayer that comes from a heart that won't pray like we do, but whose language is only tears.
