This is David’s biggest act of courage and why he earned All-American status in Greco after making the finals in Freestyle. David lost a tough match on front side but battled back to win 6 in a row and get third! This is the defining moment the match before the blood round. He was up 2-0 in the second period. He just snapped down the opponent and went behind but they said they had just blown whistle for passivity… they blew that call. So he goes down. What makes this better is that this OK kid tech falled us at southern plains finals. This guy should have placed. 15 points scored between the two in 30 seconds. Because of David’s 5, he ends up winning 9-9 on criteria
