In this video, we examine the different meanings and parts of speech which the word "that" can have. We also study the different ways in which the word "that" can be the beginning of different types of clauses. We continue with Assignment 35, and work on Question #2 in which we create a narrative using dialogue, and practice our ability to use quotation marks correctly. (Note: although the cover page says that we will look at Question #3, we actually run out of time to cover it in this class, and don't discuss it until Class 26.)
