“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

John 1:12-13 Part 3
12: But as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name
13: Which were born not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but being born of God.
Sons ( …and daughters !) have rights and privileges as in the natural world. As a son of God here are some of the rights and privileges that I have since I chose to follow Jesus :

John 14:27
Peace I leave you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.
John 16:33
“ I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, But take heart I have overcome the world.”
Philliipians 4:7 “ And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Isaiah 26:3 ~ You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.”
In Christ one has the Holy Spirit in them and hence the fruit of the Spirit…

Revelation 5:1
“ Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,”

Romans 8:6 “ The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Psalm 29:11 “The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.”
