The 2018 Breitling Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 A17325211C1P1 is the most elemental variant of Breitling's legendary circular slide rule calculator bezel watch. A pilot's watch, a sports watch, and a dress watch all in one, the Navitime 1 Automatic 38 is a versatile luxury timepiece with time-tested style.

Launched in 1954, Breitling's Navitimer offered a more advanced version of the calculator bezel first offered on the 1942 Breitling Chronomat. As with the original Navitimer, the 2018 Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 includes a logarithmic scale on a bidirectional bezel; special calibrations permit multiplication and division operations. A blue sunburst dial with all appliqué hour indices and a date window completes the aesthetic of this minimalist Navitimer.

Breitling's A17325211C1P1 employs a 38mm stainless steel case with strong lugs, slim caseband, and a high polish finish. The blue alligator leather strap with white contrasting stitching perfectly complements the sunburst blue dial, and a simple steel pin buckle permits effortless adjustments.

Breitling equips this blue Navitimer 1 with a "caliber 17" automatic movement. This Swiss caliber is a COSC certified Swiss chronometer based on a chronometer-grade ETA 2824-2. It features a 38-hour power reserve, hacking seconds (stop seconds), and a quickset date. The Breitling caliber 17 beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, features 25 pivot and cap jewels, and it is protected to 30 meters against water intrusion.
